Teacher Casey

(she/her)

As a kinder teacher (love love love!) I saw a marked difference with the way cooperative preschool parents spoke about their children's preschool experience: They spoke with a deeper love and appreciation for what those schools provided for their children.

With a Master’s Degree in Education,

Casey started as a kindergarten teacher in South Pasadena for 5 years before pausing to become a full time mom.

Casey sought out a cooperative preschool in Orange County and has been a part of the LPPP community ever since. This is her 7th year at LPPP and her 3rd child going through the program. She has served on the LPPP Board many capacities including LPPP President.

Teacher Cyndi

(she/her)

I am SO happy to be back at LPPP working alongside two of my favorite women in the world!

Teacher Cyndi started her career with children as a teaching intern at Santa Barbara City College Children’s Center. She went on to complete her degree in Child Development, elementary teaching credentials, and Masters Degree in Education at Cal State Fullerton.

As her children made their way through LPPP classes, she served on the LPPP board and two years as President of OCCPPNS.

Since that time, she has primarily been with her own kids and teaching as a substitute in Saddleback Valley Unified.

Meet Our Staff

Our super heroes, working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly!

Karrie Field

(She/Her)

Executive Assistant & Fundraising Chair

Karrie Anne Field earned her Master’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Bucknell University.  Her bond with LPPP began over 10 years ago when she enrolled her oldest child into the program.

During her years as a parent member for her three children, Karrie has seen LPPP flourish through big transitions including moving campus locations three times. Each year she was inspired by the leadership the LPPP community nurtures, and has served as Vice President, Treasurer, President and Fundraising Chair.

She believes in LPPP’s philosophy of promoting the education and growth of not only children but also their parents.  Karrie is passionate about encouraging parents to share the love, care taking and nurturing they provide for their children with themselves.

Carissa Fleshman

(She/Her)

Operations Assistant

Carissa holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from Sacramento State and has a background in teaching music.

As a parent member prior to becoming staff, Carissa served on the Membership Team and as Secretary,  Today, Carissa's compassion, dedication, and foresight help keep LPPP running smoothly.  She is responsible for much of the behind-the-scenes work such as policy implementation and parent job training.
